SWINE INFLUENZA AND HOMEOPATHY
The prospect of an influenza pandemic is back again. This time from another strain of the influenza viruses, the A(H1N1), called "swine" flu virus, because it seems to have originated in pigs. Apparently, or in accordance with the current scientific knowledge anyway, the pigs served as the "mixing vessel" for already existing influenza virus strains of different species to reassort genetically, that is to swap their genes and give birth to a radically new strain, totally unfamiliar to the immune system of current human population.
Just as I did three years ago, I looked through Web search for scientific articles describing comprehensively the clinical picture of lethal or seriously complicated incidents of the "swine" flu cases, but I didn't find any. So, there isn't a ground in medical literature on which solid predictions can be based about potentially salutary homeopathic treatment for "swine" flu, at least at the moment. All we can make is presumptions. In this way, if the pathophysiologic processes and complications from which the swine influenza victims died were the same as those in avian influenza victims, then we may reasonably conjecture that the homeopathic remedies to use will be these dealt with in the previous post "Avian influenza and Homeopathy".PS. A homeopathic colleague from Mexico (Dr. Jose Matuk) wrote to me that in the swine flu epidemic they had cases of Aconitum, Bryonia, Gelsemium and Arsenicum (however without making clear whether these included the seriously complicated cases too). I want to thank him for the information provided, hoping that other homeopathic colleagues around the world, too, will keep providing the homeopathic community with valuable relevant information.

Thanks for quick updates on swine flu . Though in India it's still unseen but we are following the articles related to swine flu closely.
